Courses of Islamiat and Pakistan studies are making our young generation a victim of extremism. This course was last time altered in Zia era when Brookings Institute in US (An American Think Tank) wanted to produce some fighters to cope with USSR and sadly this course is converting our whole generation into a militant Gang.
Instead of these Subjects, students should be taught liberal arts , music, dance and paiting etc in the schools. What do you say ? All comments are extremely welcomed.
well course of isl is taught in pakistan bcopz it is a muslim state n 2 teach muslimz or any other human being abt thr religion does not produce extremism n abt pakistan studies i would like 2 say that 2 stuudy abt one's own country is not extremism

Tweety Baita! Gujrat Riots are a scar on Indian claims of being a truly liberal secular state. Every peace loving Indian hates its and feels ashamed to lsiten about it.
It is only Bal Thakeray, Qazi Hussain Ahmed, RSS, Jamaat e Islami and very few people like this across both theborder who spread hate for each other and put in young minds the hatred for the coming generations as well.
India is a little different than Pakistan in some cases. First thing is that it declares itself a secular democraticv country. Where President is a Muslim and Prime Minister is a Sikh while majority of habitants are hindus. Can you imagine if In Pakistan , they will accept a Hindu /Christian Prime Minister? No, because Pakistani law doesn't allow them and doesn't provide the minorities full rights of a citizen.
Secondly, there are 170 million muslims in India. In Pakistan they are 150 million muslims (lesser than India). So, due to so much Muslims in India, a normal indian believes that it is not possible to go against them. So theere, islamiyat is not a necessary subject. An Indian muslim enjoys full rights. How many of successful Muslims do I need to count coming from India . From Filmstars to Sports heroes, From Presidents to Ministers. And they are all respected well.
